Our Journey
Founded in 2016 by Senior Pastor Joseph Wisdom Sesay, Cross Purpose Church began as a small gathering of 56 people in Cranbourne, VIC. Today, we’ve grown into a thriving community impacting lives locally and globally through faith, outreach, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
First Service in a Local Hall
The journey began with 56 attendees gathering for our first worship service—birthing a vision of transformation, freedom, and community impact that continues to grow today.
Youth & Family Ministries Launch
With a heart to empower the next generation, Cross Purpose expanded its ministry to youth and families, deepening engagement across Cranbourne and surrounding communities.
International Outreach Growth
Our global partnerships expanded to Africa, launching mission initiatives in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Uganda—supporting local leaders and church plants worldwide.
Specialized Ministry Teams
Healing, deliverance, and pastoral care ministries became core parts of our mission, offering support and transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Relocation to Cranbourne
Cross Purpose Church moves to its ministry facility at 12–14 Arundel Street, Cranbourne, enabling greater impact through youth discipleship, community outreach, and global online teaching platforms.
Community Impact & Acceleration
The church hosts city-wide outreach initiatives such as the Mega Giveaway—supporting hundreds with groceries, clothing, and spiritual care. Cross Purpose remains a place of breakthrough, healing, and hope.
